First, I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. I've been quite busy with the kids so I've taken a few days off updating the site. Anyway, I'm sure there will be quite frequent updates early in 2007.
Second, here is an interview with Governor Romney from Human Events online. You can read the transcript here: Human Events OR there are audio versions as well. Click for a Windows Media version or for an MP3 version. Hope you enjoy.

More Romney articles
I've linked to three more articles discussing the growing Romney strength. The first one is from the Concord Monitor. Here are a couple key quotes: "Despite the rightward shift, which has prompted charges of political opportunism, many of those who attended the holiday party were ready to embrace the new Mitt Romney, who is weighing a run for the White House.
"I think people can have a change of heart," said Chris Buonopane of Deerfield. "I think he'd be great." Click here to read the full article:

And another from the Portsmouth Herald. Click here to read the full article: Portsmouth Herald.
Finally here is one from the Nashua Telegraph. (Click the link.) This is from the article: "Romney has had a successful year building a political organization from many different camps across the ideological spectrum.“I like what he’s done in Massachusetts and see him as a strong leader,” said former state Sen. George Lovejoy, R-Rochester."

Article: Romney is fast rising as a serious contender
From the Boston Globe, Dec. 12, 2006
This is an interesting piece about Romney's growing momentum. Click the link above for the full article, but here are a couple tidbits:
"....But through shrewd moves and good luck, Romney has steadily risen through the ranks of GOP prospects. Now, almost everyone in Republican politics ranks Romney as the second-likeliest nominee, behind Senator John McCain of Arizona."
"....Last week, Romney was the runner-up to McCain in an exhaustive National Journal poll of Washington insiders. And McCain himself has validated the early soundings by crashing the annual convention of the Republican Governors Association, which Romney chaired. McCain knew that Romney's ties to Republican governors could give him thousands of foot soldiers in the primaries. It was a testament to the extent of Romney's support that McCain felt a need to intervene so early and so directly."
